    I'm not able to view or log into my WordPress site. The URL is http://www.timizik.com The theme which I downloaded is disconnected from its style sheet, however the contents of the pages are still there. when I tried to view the page through any browser I receive a 404 code error stating that The page was unable to connect to my server.I checked with my hosting and they said that nothing was wrong on their end. I currently can't even login in to my wp admin account as I receive the same 404 error.

    Please help me figure this out.

    Try from this link:

    http://timizik.com/wp-login.php

    If you manage to get in then change the theme to 2011 (twentyeleven) and then see if your site is properly setup before changing the theme again.

    Good luck.

    Instead of registering a NEW domain name as, action4children.com, I stupidly purchased an upgrade to map my blog to action4children.com which is owned by Illinois Action for Children.

    Realizing my mistake I cancelled the upgrade but now when I go to my blog site action4children.wordpress.com, or try to view my profile a 404 error comes up.

    Please, please, help me!

    Everyone logging into my site gets an Error 404 message. However, the site menu is there on the error pager, allowing you to navigate to other pages in the site including the home page. You just can't access the home page when going to the site. What gives?

    @Dorothy,

    What is your web address? Please post here for us to try it.

    Error 404 simply means that the page is not on the web server. It could be that it has been deleted by mistake or the site has been attacked. Either way, please post a link for us to visit it because a solution can be found/given.

    Good luck.
