I think you are actually asking about domain mapping, and I think that is a function of multi-site:
    https://www.google.com/search?q=WordPress+domain+mapping

Before moving in that direction, however, maybe ask your host about add-on domains in sub-folders. In my own case, I even have my primary domain in a sub-folder to help keep everything neatly organized.

    Hi Jackj89,

Would you like to create a sub directory with WordPress pages in it?

In that case you can do the following:

    1. Create a page and set the URL for it, e.g. page1. That will be the sub directory, for example http://www.mywebsite.com/page1/. If you want to have content when the users access http://www.mywebsite.com/directory/ you can enter such content to this page.

    2. Create a new page, e.g. page2 and from the Page Attributes widget in the sidebar select the page "directory" from the drop down menu. Once the second page is saved, its URL will be http://www.mywebsite.com/page1/page2/

    Hope this helps.
