I am messing with this thing that I am unable to upload images in either wp-content and wp-content/uploads.
The uploaded file could not be moved to /var/www/vhosts/pakzilla.com/httpdocs/wp-content. and /wp-content/uploads
I have 775 wp-content and 777 uploads. I have also tried by making both folder 777 but still I am unable to user uploads folder.
I need your expert suggestions about how can I resolve this issue. I want to user uploads folder for all my images. Please suggest solutions. 777 is not working.
Hi,
As your upload permissions did not work then perform these steps:
- Login into wordpress admin area.
- Go to Settings -> Miscellaneous.
- Clear the path for uploading folder and set again either with default settings wp-content/uploads or desired settings in store uploads in this folder section.

Shane G!
Your solution didnt work.
I am still getting following error:
a. when I try with //wp-content/uploads and /wp-content/uploads. Its sure / is root and there wp-content is not available.
Unable to create directory //wp-content/uploads. Is its parent directory writable by the server?
b. this error occured when I tried with wp-content/uploads
The uploaded file could not be moved to /var/www/vhosts/pakzilla.com/httpdocs/wp-content/uploads.
Can some one guide me on this issue please?
Thanks
Tahir

Look at the leading slashes. Delete them and try again. (Settings-Miscelleaneous)
I had my host reconfigure my site and it still didn't work, then saw this post and looked back at mine. I had a leading slash that I deleted and it worked.
