   Everytime I try to upload an image i get this message

   Unable to create directory /var/www/vhosts/copycreative.net/httpdocs/wp-content/uploads/2010/05. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

   I am wondering if it is something to do with my ftp host as I am running the same theme on my own website but I uploaded all the content via my control pannel using Fantasico.

   I have tried all the related answers but with no result other than now interal pages when accessed show the 404 error.

   Does anyone know the answer to this?

   Hi,

   Assign 755 recursive permissions to wp-content folder with the help of your web hosting service provider. It will resolve your problem.

   i've been gettting a similar message when I try to upload images/media on one of my blogs.
