Getting the error:
Unable to create directory D:\Hosting\8927956\html\wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2012/02. Is its parent directory writable by the server?
Before you yell at me to look at other posts, I have tried making those changes.
My default is wp-content\upLoads, changing to wp-content\uploads didn't fix it.
I have changed the permissions via FTP to 777 - that didn't fix it.
I also unchecked the box about month folders, that did not work.
Any other ideas??

Hmmm... I know you said you have changed permissions to 777 but have you checked that /uploads and all child folders have been set to 777? Also, I had a problem once with changing permissions. The permissions seemed to be changing through FTP but when I would double check, they indeed were not changing. This was due to my FTP account not being the Owner of the folders. Weird I know but its worth a look.
