    Hi,
I have been having trouble uploading files to WordPress and always get the following error:
"File is empty. Please upload something more substantial. This error could also be caused by uploads being disabled in your php.ini or by post_max_size being defined as smaller than upload_max_filesize in php.ini."

You can see my phpinfo screen at http://www.team2374.com/phpinfo.php

I have already talked to ixwebhosting and they directed me to ask the question here. They upped my max upload size from 20MB to 32MB as part of the troubleshooting.

    Thanks!

What kind of file? Uploading thru the dashboard or ftp?

FTP is working perfectly fine. I get the error when uploading from the Dashboard. I have tried uploading a JPG for a header image in my theme as well as importing an XML backup file of my posts. Both uploads give me the same error.

Have you checked the php.ini file?

Yeah. It seems fine to me. That link I provided should give an overview of the php.ini file as it is now.

The .ini file should have something about uploads in it I think. The actual file would have the file size and file_uploads = "On" - I can't get to mine to check.
