   I currently have 2.8.2 version of MU installed. I want to automatically upgrade to 3.0.1, but have come up with an issue. The following message keeps coming up:

   Warning: copy(/home/.../html/wp-content/upgrade/wordpress-mu-3.0.1/wordpress/wp-admin/includes/update-core.php) [function.copy]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/.../html/wp-admin/includes/class-wp-filesystem-direct.php on line 131

   Could not copy files.

   Installation Failed

   Can anyone please tell me what this means and how I can resolve it? F.Y.I. I am on a shared hosting account with Godaddy, with a dedicated IP address for my MU installed domain.

   You can't.

   If you had auto-upgraded to 2.9.2, then you would have been able to go to 3.0, but now you're too far back to auto-upgrade from MU. The devs made allowances so users could switch back in June.

   You'll have to do it manually now.

   Go to 2.9.2 first, then 3.0.
