[Plugin: NextGen Gallery] Unable to update NextGen Gallery

    I am trying to update NextGen Gallery from version 1.9.0 to 1.9.1 using the WordPress Update screen. I am receiving the following error:
    An error occurred while updating NextGEN Gallery: Could not remove the old plugin..

    All other plugin updates have been successful.

    I would try doing it via FTP. There might be a bug in the plugin, or it might have something to do with the server permissions. It’s annoying, but if the upgrade is important to you, it might be easier to go via ftp, delete the old plugin and upload the new one.

    Thank you Christine ….. I had to do the unspeakable and use 777 on the permissions to get the update to work.
