    Help!

I made a site on one server, and I'm trying to transfer it to another server.

But I'm having issues with the database and the database users.

I can't name the users the same thing because the different webhosts have their own systems/prefixes for databases and db users, and I can't alter them.

I don't know how to get the new server to import the old database! When I import the SQL file in phpMyAdmin I get the error:

    MySQL said:
#1044 - Access denied for user 'newuser'@'localhost' to database 'olduser_wrdp1'

First of all, have you read this? http://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress

That error, if you're getting it inside phpMyAdmin, sounds like it may be a MySQL permissions issue that your hosting company will need to help you with. If you're getting that inside WordPress, it's something we may be able to help with.

Ack, ok, I'm back. The front page works, and the posts and pages are all there in the admin, but when I click on any of the pages I get this error:

    Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, [no address given] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

    Any ideas?

    Is this an .htaccess issue?
