[resolved] Unable to style the_content() (2 posts)

I have a couple of div tags with a class assigned to them on the content area of the page. I have the style for them in the style sheet, but nothing changes. I have been able to style a couple of custom fields in the same page without a problem.

Does anyone know why is this happening?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Kindda new to WP.

Quite likely your CSS in the stylesheet is being overwritten by more specific CSS in the stylesheet.

If you have the Firefox Firebug addon installed, use it to see what CSS is being applied to the page element. If you don't have it installed, you will save a lot of time by installing it and learning to use it.

You can use the developer tools in Chrome and IE8 for this purpose also though Firebug (IMO) is a more effective tool.

If you can't figure it out post a URL and the specific page element you are having trouble with.
