I'm unable to save text in my widgets - for example, none of the titles will save, text in the Text widget won't save (the fields are blank when I come back to the widget after saving). Also I can't save any settings in the Links widget - it always reverts back to "All Links." I recently updated to WP 2.8 and updated Thesis to 1.5.1.

Try deactivating all plugins and check to see if this resolves the problem. If it does, activate the plugins one by one - checking the Widgets after each re-activation - until you find the problematic plugin(s).

Posted 2 years ago #Guess what? My problem is resolved - as long as I use Firefox. Must be an IE 8 issue.

Posted 2 years ago #Yea, I'm having exactly the same problem in Safari. WordPress 2.8.6. Looks like the widget editing code is broken everywhere EXCEPT Firefox. Thanks for the post/solution, though -- I was tearing my hair out. Should have thought to try a different browser! ;-)
