I'm installing a plugin that requires my API key, which I don't have saved on my computer anymore. In trying to retrieve my API key, I'm forwarded to a site that asks for my username and password, but it keeps telling me that my username is invalid. I'm absolutely using the correct info that I use to login to my site's dashboard... Is there any other way to get my API key?

So just create a random blog and use the api key for My site? its not connected to the random blog created at all?
(I didnt think it was two different companys hence my confusion)
Ah, that happens alot :) You can get an ID with just an account (you don't need to make a blog unless you want one) http://en.wordpress.com/api-keys/
