[resolved] Unable to reorder or subordinate menu items (2 posts)

I'm having trouble with my main navigation menu. I can add items to it, but can neither reorder them nor subordinate them to make a dropdown menu. When I hover over a menu item I get the four-point arrow, but when I click and try to drag the item, it won't move. Similarly, when I expand the item that I want to subordinate, nothing happens when I click on the words "up" or "down" or "under."

I recently updated to WP 3.6, and I've tried reinstalling.
I'm using the magazine basic theme (which does support dropdown menus), but I tried changing to another theme (twenty ten) and had the same problem.

I actually figured it out by following some advice from this topic: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/some-button-links-wont-work-in-wp-admin-inc-screen-options-and-add-new-category?replies=14

I deactivated all my plugins and reactivated them one by one until I found the problem. The bad plugin was the WP category sticky posts plugin: http://wordpress.org/plugins/category-sticky-posts/

I think it created a problem because the magazine basic theme already has a sticky post feature, although that's just a guess.
