Unable to post pmid citation plus update to meta. (1 post)

    I am using the plugin PMID Citation Plus to call publications using the Pubmed ID.
    I receive the error message "Unable to post pmid citation plus update to meta." when I try to save changes on a page that has Pubmed ID's entered.
    Anyone know how to fix this? (The only way I can make a change is to deactivate the plugin, then reactivate it)
    Any help much appreciated
