Unable to page using Bootstrap theme when change to "almost pretty" permalinks (4 posts)

I am using the Boostrap theme for my site and have changed the permalink structure to "post name" so the format is currently /index.php/%postname%/

However, when I try to page on the home page of my blog, the urls of the second pages etc are now:

    http://writeupp.com/blog/index.php/Index.phppage/2/

This does not work and should be:

    http://writeupp.com/blog/index.php/Index.php/page/2/

    How can I change this?

That isn't what it looks like to me. Your blog page is "http://writeupp.com/blog/index.php/" but your 'paged' pages are missing the 'index.php' part-- "http://writeupp.com/blog/page/2/" Have you changed the permalink since you posted?

You will to find this, "<nav class="pagination pagination-centered clearfix"><ul class="page-numbers">", div in your theme and work out why those links are incorrect.

I haven't changed the permalinks since posting. This is odd because I access the blog from http://writeupp.com/blog/

Any idea where that sits in the theme? I haven't made any modifications to it, and apologies, I am a beginner with wordpress!

There are so very many ways to write a theme... Start with 'index.php' but it may be in an included file so watch for functions named include or get_template_part. Also be aware that it may not look exactly like that in the source. Try to match up at least one of those class names.
