Unable to move or re-organize navigation links in custom theme (6 posts)

I have a custom theme that was designed for me and I am new to PHP but very familiar with CSS. The theme is a bit untraditional in it's design and I am trying to add content and update the navigation links in the header. I tried contacting the person who designed it for me but I can't reach them.

From what I can gather the 2 navigation menus in the header are pulling the Pages in 2 sections, the first li=0-5 and the 2nd li=5-9. When I look at the Pages ID's they do not correspond to what I think the header should be pulling for the navigation links. For example; I want to move the link to Neighborhoods from the bottom navigation to the top navigation but I can't figure out if this is an ID order problem or if there is another way to specify it differently.

My site is at http://www.urbanlivingseattle/wordpress and you can see the blank navigation box on the top right corner.

Also, it is possible to mix the navigation menu to have links to both Pages and Categories in the same menu in the header? Ideally I would like to point to both but not sure if these are just hard links I would add in the header?

Thanks for your time reading this. I've read through tons of pages of the documentation and can't quite seem to figure it out.

For reference, here is the header code:

That's not a standard WP function/tag. I have no idea what
wp_list_pages_Customize does. It might be defined in the functions.php file of your theme - but you'll need a coder who can understand and or modify it.

As for inserting links manually in that list: with the standard wp_list_pages it is possible, although not in between. Either before or after the Pages.

There were several topics about having a 'home link' in the Pages list, you may find those by searching.
