   I registered a WordPress account for the purpose of being able to post a comment on a particular WordPress blog. However, when I attempt to go to the comment section of a post there and log in, I receive a message reading, "Error: Wrong username." When I attempt to use the "Lost your password?" tool, it returns, "Sorry, that user does not seem to exist in our database. Perhaps you have the wrong username or e-mail address?"

   I can login to wordpress.org without any problem. Is there some restriction here? If so it seems odd that it's returning a username error and not giving me useful information as to permissions or anything like that.

   Where is the blog?
   At wordpress.com?

   It doesn't seem like it's hosted on wordpress.com. Does one need to register an account on individual blogs? I couldn't find anywhere to do that.

   I am experiencing similar problem. I am webhosting with Godaddy and they prompted me to install wordpress trough their website which I did. email arrived with login details but I have been unable to log on as my username is unknown. please help!!!!!
