   running 2.6

   Suddenly unable to log into wp-admin.

   Give it the email address for the reset password.

   Follow the given link to reset the password.

   Attempt to use the password that is then emailed.

   No success. Invalid password.

   This is true for all THREE emails that I have access to, and none of the other three people with administrator passwords can log in either.

   Suggestions?

   Did you request the password multiple times? Only the last password request will work.

   deleted ALL FILES from the folder, installed a bare-bones 2.7 along with the config file, and was able to log in.

   I have no idea what was hosed, but I'm back up.

   how do you reinstall without losing content? which files do you need to re-install and where? Is this possible?
