I'm obviously a total novice at this, but I am trying to intall from the instructions "Famous 5 minute install" I've been trying for some hours researching but still cannot get passed No 1 "Unzip the package in an empty directory and upload everything" I haven't a clue what that means. All I have done is unzip but after that, I do not understand the terminology.
No 2 says "Open .......... in your browser" what is this supposed to mean?
and so it goes on. Would appreciate step by step instructions in layman's terms

By "upload everything", they mean that you need to use an FTP client software (like Filezilla, WinSCP, CoffeeCup, CyberDuck, etc.) to copy the files from your computer to a space on the server for the web hosting account you've purchased.

By "Open .......... in your browser", they mean that, once you've uploaded the files, you need to open your browser (Internet Explorer, FireFox, Chrome, Safari, or whatever you're using to browse the internet) and go to the address specified in the instructions, the same way you would go to any other web page.
