Unable to import tumblr to local hosted WordPress

    I’m trying to import my old tumblr blog (mickstatham.tumblr.com) to my self hosted WordPress blog. Unfortunatly I get the ‘Tumblr replied with an error: Not found. We couldn’t find the page you were looking for’ message and it tells me to check my email and password however these are correct. I have also tried importing as xml file but this only fetches the latest single post from the tumblr. Is there something I’m missing (obviously I am, eh :D)

    It appears you have already tried the usual methods.
    Tumbler probably has undergone a change of infrastructure recently, difficult to predict whether that is the cause.

    The ‘manual’ method is quite painful – simple copy paste from frontend.
