Unable to edit Blog Page

I am using WordPress 3.9.1 and Gantry Template Framework version 4.1.2.

My problem is with the Blog Page. I have assigned a page to be designated to have the blog posts. I have done this through the theme customization. (I also assigned a specific page for the home page.) I am unable to edit my Blog page. (I am able to edit my home page.) With my blog page, none of the shows up on the front-end. And when I unassigned the Blog Page, the page works fine (minus the blog posts). This also goes for the Override feature. If I override the Blog page to edit the widgets, it does not work. (But the override feature works for the Home page.) And the Override feature works fine for the Blog page when I unassigned it from the blog posts.
