Unable to drag/drop Widgets (7 posts)

    Hello, there.

I am in need of some help, if possible. I was working tonight on my blog (www.aerochile.forcehosting.cl) and after deactivating and uninstalling a couple of plugins I realized I can't move the widgets to the sidebar.

I have googled and read a couple of posts in these forums related to the same issue but they have not been a solution for me. One was to download and reinstall WordPress (specifically wp-includes and wp-admin plus the root files) as well as deactivating and reactivating all the plugins. I don't know what else to do!

I tried both in IE and Firefox and I have also cleared all the cache just in case. Here is the error that IE gives me:

    Line: 310
    Char: 5
    Error: Object expected
    Code: 0
    URL: http://aerochile.forcehosting.cl/wp-admin/widgets.php

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank in advance!

    Sincerely,
    Daniel

Sorry I really need to BUMP. Nothing of what I've found in Google (considering I search pretty good) has been of help. Without fixing this I just can't continue working on my blog. Thanks

I'm having the same problem. I've added a bunch of widgets over the last few days and now I'm unable to drag and drop my widgets. I've deactivated them all and still nothing.

I'll post again if I find a solution.

For me the problem lies with Firefox/2.0.0.12

I was able to move the widgets with Explorer....which I hate to use.

Hi all, I had this for some time. Eve went as far as drpping he database and a fresh install.
I have now isolated the problem to one plugin.
    Feedwordpress.
Once I de-activated it the widgets were back to normal.
Its taken a long time to realise it was a conflict with the plugin.
Hope you guys sort out your problems.
    Mike.

Mikey1: thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! I suspected it was a plugin thing but still didn't get the courage to actually go and isolate the damned thing.

So yes, deactivating Feedwordpress, solved the problem, and several other bugs that were, well, bugging me.

    Take care,
    Lex

Mikey1: Let me also thank you for finding that problem! Deactivating Feedwordpress also solved my problem.
