I have installed the All in One SEO plug-in which seemed pretty straight forwrad and I thought I understood what I was doing.
I have entered the relevant data into the Home title and Description fields on the plug-in option page and on every individual page. However, when my site appears in Google, the description is still showing as "This is an example page. It's different from a blog post...". Does anyone know how to chnage this? Many thanks
that is a google problem (and might take a while for them to change to your latest output);when my site appears in Google
what does appear in your site?
check the meta description by viewing the code in the browser, for instance with 'view' 'source'

Thanks for your reply. In the source it's showing the correct description which is just a paragraph about the site. It's just I'd rather the description in Google was blank than "This is an example page..."!! Shall I just wait a couple of days and see if Google recognises it?
