   Hi,
   I have been having this problems for a while - when i try to add a new page (or post) to a menu using the standard menu option in wordpress dashboard, the circular 'waiting/processing' icon next to the add to button appears, but even if i leave it for half an hour, nothing happens. I really need to change my menus. What can i do?

   Have you tried:

   - deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

   - switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

   - resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

   - re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress.

   Thankyou,
   It looks like it is the plugin WPtouch that was causing the problem.
