When I login to the WordPress support forum and click 'View Your Profile' it just says User not found.
My username is Jim Pivonka
Can someone fix this? I'd like to receive emails when someone responds to my posts, but can't get in to configure it.
Thanks,
Is your site a WordPress.com blog, or a self-hosted WordPress site? It sounds like you might be referring to a WordPress.com account, in that case try asking your question over at http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/. Sorry for any confusion.

It appears that there is a 5+ minute lag time between the issuance of the email containing the password, and the ability to access the profile associated with the password. I've not seen this before, and will wait 15 minutes before posting questions about inaccessibility in the future.
Sorry to bother you, and thanks for your timely response.
That's not a delay built into WordPress software, be it .com or .org - I would say if this is self hosted, there's a plugin interfering. If it's .com hosted, it may be an email delay...

I am unable to access my existing wordpress .org account. Which is my website. I am being told that username doesn't exist. Any suggestions.
What's the account name you're trying to access?
Please remember - Creating your own WordPress install does not create an account on these forums.
