hello all,
i installed wordpress 2.0 to my host and ran it there for a few weeks. i decided to move wordpress to the root of my host. the blog, itself, comes up just fine but i'm no longer able to access the admin menu. what would i edit to be able to access the admin panel?
for example, i had WP installed like this:
onegear.net/journal
i moved it to the root:
onegear.net
thanks for your help in advance.
You need to go into the database, find the options table (perhaps named "wp_options" depending on your prefixes), and change the options "siteurl" and "home" to reflect the changes.
And for future reference: read the instructions before you do anything, so you don't have to come and ask questions after you screwed up your blog :)
