In b2, there was a thing in the documentation about all the tags you can use, stuff like that, but it also said what code you must include in the php page in order for the blog to work... I can't find that anywhere here! I found some tags, but not any of the loop code, and header code, and all that. Where is there some kind of template tutorial??

Noo, I'm talking about the loop code, and the header code, and all that code you need in order to get the blog to work at all! I'm a noob, I know, but I can't find it in any documentation.

It should work straight away ?
You should be able to login, make your first post (and see the rest of the admin panel) then click 'View Site' to see it work ..

Ok... lemme try to explain this right. I don't want to use the given page. I want to incorporate the blog into my design on likepie.net. Previously with b2, all I had to do was copy and paste the loop code from the documentation, as well as this other header code, into my file with the .php extension. Once that was done, it was a simple matter of putting the tags <php author] or whatever into the right places on the design and it all worked. In b2 documentation, this was all there, but here, it's not.

WordPress users are encouraged to use CSS to customise the appearance of the existing index.php, rather than make their own index.php from scratch. That's why there isn't a 'template tutorial'.
