"Catchable fatal error: Object of class WP_Error could not be converted to string in /home3/thevolu1/public_html/wp-content/themes/suffusion/magazine.php on line 256
    .."

I paid a pro to install suffusion and bring over the content from an old WP.com blog. I then set about redecoratiog and cleaning house (let me know if I speak to much tech). When I changed the catagories and the catagories the old articles were under I got the above message. Now no new changes show, everythng that was there went AWOL... I can not afford to hire more help, do I need to start from scratch or...?

I don't really know what the error it, but I find it strange that your theme gives an error when you change categories (btw did you change category names or did you assign new ones?). "Catchable" sounds a bit strange too, a cache error? First thing I'd try is change to default theme and see if that helps. If it does, change back to Suffusion to see if the error comes back.

Thank you Roy, while the default theme had no change you led me down the right path. I then went to the defaul setting on the Suffusion template pade and started that over. 10 minutes and all was solved. Much appreciated.
