   Hi,

   When I try to update WordPress from version 2.8.4 to 3.0.3 I keep getting the following message and I can't complete the upload:

   Unable to locate the WordPress Root Directory.
   Installation Failed

   I am not an IT person and have very limited knowledge of WordPress or IT systems and any forum I've checked is geared more towards someone with a far greater understanding of software codes and systems than I have.

   Thanks very much. I've tried what was mentioned in that post before but have limited ability and unable to perform all the tasks mentioned. Will keep on trucking for now :)
