PaulWoodfordI just upgraded two blogs to WP 2.2.1. An uncommanded (by me, anyway) typographical symbol now appears at the end of sentences in my old posts:
I’ve been trying to photograph a pair of Gila Woodpeckers and a Thrasher, but they’re skittish. Whenever I reach for the camera . . .
Am I going to have to hand-edit every old post to get rid of those  symbols? Is there a fix for this? Has anyone else had this problem?
Update: Looking at other old posts, the  symbol also appears after some links and even after individual words within sentences. Other symbols appear where I'd originally typed apostrophes, dashes, and quotation marks. This is going to be a big problem, I think.
