When you setup these blogs (blogues?) what are you specifying for URL values at Settings -> General?
What is in your site’s .htaccess file?
It is interesting that typing http://www.jesuissucces.com/blogue/ (note the trailing slash) makes your site work properly.
While I’m still interested in seeing your .htaccess file, I’d also be curious to know what you have specified at Settings -> Permalinks as well.
In which folder is that .htaccess file?
Thanks
Christian
Same as where your blog is installed (http://www.jesuissucces.com/blogue/ in this case).
I use permalinks, shouldn’t I have a .htaccess file created?
Thanks
Christian
Can’t find it in there.
I used my ftp to check and then the file manager from godaddy, the file is not there.
Is that possible? Should I create an empty one?
Thanks
Christian
With most FTP clients you have to enable an option to see hidden files (.htaccess is hidden). You must have an .htaccess file for your non-default Permalinks to be working.
Reminder: I’d also like to know what settings you have for your Permalinks (Settings -> Permalinks)
With FileZilla FTP, there is the Server/Force showing hiddent files option but still, I don’t see it.
For my http://www.jesuissucces.com/blogue/ I use Date and Title –> http://www.jesuissucces.com/blogue/2010/02/07/sample-post/
For my http//www.parajuristes.com/blogue/ I use /%postname% in custom structure
Thanks
Christian
Odd.
OK, so on the http://www.jesuissucces.com/blogue/ temporarily set Permalinks back to Default.
Does that make links start working again?
If you then reset them back to Date & Title style does WordPress create an .htaccess file? If it doesn’t, try creating one and add this to it:
# BEGIN WordPress
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /blogue/
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule . /blogue/index.php [L]
</IfModule>
# END WordPress
Excellent, I will try that tonight. I will let you know
Thanks !

I forgot to say that my hosting account in on Windows, maybe it’s the reason why the htaccess file does not exist.
I changed the permalinks to default and when I typed: http://www.parajuristes.com/blogue I was directed to http://www.parajuristes.com/parajuristes.com/blogue/ except this time I did not get the 404 error. I don’t understand.
I added the .htaccess file (with code you provided) and it didn’t not change anything.
I guess I can live with typing the last “/” –> http://www.parajuristes.com/blogue/
I’m just curious why this is happening.
Thanks for all your help
Christian

Almost definitely.
You want to try using “almost pretty” Permalinks on your Windows host.
Custom, starting with /index.php/
Thanks Chris_Km you were very helpful!
My permalinks work fine, I get exact/direct access to my articles. I only have a problem on the root when I type address http://www.parajuristes.com/blogue (without last / )
I’m going to try the almost pretty permalinks
Thanks again
