I have tried reuploading everything in the wp-admin and the wp-include folders. The other boxes on the add new post page show a gold border when you place the cursor in them so they are active - only the area where the body of the post goes is reversed to white - when you highlight you can see what you have typed. What file is messed up?

Have you tried:
- deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
- switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?
- resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

Posted 1 year ago #I am having the same problem on WordPress 3.0 RC. I had removed my database, deleted all my files on server and installed fresh.
If you click the HTML tab and click back to visual the text comes back.
Problem appears to be the text is white.
