• After my hosting company (GoDaddy) migrated my site to a new server, the following two warning messages appear at the bottom of all my website pages:

Warning: Unknown: open(/home/content/76/6863576/tmp/sess_hlmip36l71ru9jq99djqpi0qu4, O_RDWR) failed: No such file or directory (2) in Unknown on line 0

Warning: Unknown: Failed to write session data (files). Please verify that the current setting of session.save_path is correct () in Unknown on line 0

The only thing visibly different when viewing the entire site is that the main (slider) image on the home page is not loading, nor are the images for two blog posts. All other images are loading. Otherwise, I have no idea what this code is trying to tell me. Can anyone please help?

    Thanks!

  • Is that slider a plugin? If so, disable it and see if the error goes away.

Thanks, Pali. No, unfortunately the slider is not a plugin; it’s part of the site theme. Also, the two other images that aren’t loading are not slider images.

Prior to the hosting company moving the site to a new server, everything was fine; there were no issues.

    Very puzzling.

Ah… I just realized: one additional thing is different: after the migration to the new server, I installed the latest WordPress update. I cannot say whether these two warnings appeared prior to the update or after doing so.
