• WP newbie.
I am looking for a way to have 2 tiered nav bar (horizontal list) to maximize the useful width of my display by not using left or right navigation. Theme? plugin? widget?

I have 12 categories for the 1st tier of the nav bar. (static)
Each category will have upto 12 sub-categories.

I would like to subcategories to appear as a 2nd nav bar (horizontal list). Each subcategory to have a dropdown list of pages.

I am using a single nav bar with dropdowns and subpages. It works but it is awkward because everything is buried.

It must already exist, as a widget, plugin or built in to a theme.

    Thanks

    Hello,

We wanted to inform you that we just released a new version of the AllWebMenus “WordPress Menu” plugin!

Version 1.0.17 of the AllWebMenus plugin offers the following:

    – Easier interface.

    – Multiple menus (use up to 5 different menus on your posts or pages), with separate settings per drop-down menu.

    – New option: “Dynamic” Menu Type (AllWebMenus provides the menu style while all items are populated based on blog’s content).

    – New option: “Static” Menu Type (both menu style and content are provided by AllWebMenus, allowing full customization of the menu).

    – New option: “Mixed” Menu Type (combines both the “Dynamic” and “Static” Menu Types in a single implementation – you can have both WordPress and non-WordPress items on your menu!).

    – Integration with the latest “Related Posts” (YARPP) plugin. It dynamically adds a “Related Posts” item at the end of the Main Menu, with a submenu that contains posts related to the post you are currently viewing!

The new AllWebMenus “WordPress Menu” plugin can be downloaded from here:

    Thanks,

FYI, a new AllWebMenus “WordPress Menu” plugin has just been released.

Version 1.0.20 of the plugin now supports the new WordPress 3+ feature of “Menus”.

You can use the “menu structure” of your own WordPress “Menus” (version 3+ only) on AllWebMenus themes automatically (dynamically) and show nice-looking menus on your blogs.

    Thanks again,
