• Hi,

I just realized that there are two empty rows of text above all my WP feeds (rss2, rss, atom, comment feed), which does not validate or appear normally in any feedreader.

    http://mtsix.com/feed/ (I’m using WP 2.0.1)

I searched around and saw that disabling plugins might work since I could find out which plugin has an empty row below the code. I tried it and it doesn’t work.

I even tried ob_start the page and deleting the first two characters with substr. Unfortunately this did not work either – it only took away the <? of the feed.

What could be causing this? I have not checked my feed since I updated to WP2.0 and don’t know since I did a lot of things.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

  • I also have this issue with WP 2.0.2. I is NOT related to plugins, as I have tried deactivating them all.

I had a similar issue and thought the same as trib. However… some of my plugins also affected (by design) my permalinks so disabling them wasn’t good enough; I had to also drop by the permalinks page and “re-save” my permalink structure. Then a ctrl-F5 to reload it would show me what I really had going on with my feeds.

    Just tossing it out there…
