[resolved] Two different stats, possible to merge? (9 posts)

Accidently we disconnected our blog from jetpack and after connecting again we received a new blog id.
Could you help us out and put the old blog id again?
And if possible merge the new blog id stats to the old one?
This would help us a lot!

I just sent an email to the support as well and then I found that you are doing merges here for some other users as well.
Would be really nice if you can do help me too.

Then I do have another question.
When logged in to wordpress.com in the jetpack stats i can even see views by country. Would that also be possible to have in the Dashboard under Jetpack stats?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi there!

If you sent in an email, was your request taken care of? If not let me know and I'll look into it for you.

    Hey,
no it was not taken care of yet.
It would be nice if you can merge the two stats so that we do not loose anything.

    Thank you in advance!

I have now fixed the issue. Could you go to the Jetpack menu in your dashboard, and disconnect then reconnect to WordPress.com? Once you have done so, your stats should be back.

When logged in to wordpress.com in the jetpack stats i can even see views by country. Would that also be possible to have in the Dashboard under Jetpack stats?

We're continuously improving Site Stats, and some of the latest improvements haven't made to your Jetpack dashboard yet. But we're working on it! Keep an eye on the Jetpack News blog to find out when we will port this feature to your WordPress dashboard!

I just sent an email to the support as well

I didn't find any email from you, so I'm not sure where you sent that email. In the future, and if you experience Jetpack issues, do not hesitate to post here in the Jepack forums, or to send us an email via this form:

    Good morning Jeremy,

that is a bit strange though.
I just disconnected the Jetpack in the Dashboard. After that I reconnected and it did not work.
It still added the "new" stats with the new blogid.

Is it possible to just merge both blogid's stats so the problem would be solved by this?

I even received an email couple of hours earlier.

    Hi there,

Thanks for getting in touch. When Jetpack is disconnected and then re-connected and the URL of your site has changed, a new blog ID is generated.

I've switched the two Ids so that you now have your former stats back. You will need to disconnect Jetpack and re-connect again to see the change.

Please let me know if I can help you with anything else.

    Best,

But even this did not help.
So apparently you both did the same but it did not work?!

I hope it will be possible to merge both stats, because now there are so many days already which are not covered in the original blogid.

    best regards

    Florian

My colleague Deborah switched the 2 blog IDs to solve the problem, and I did the exact same thing a few hours later, so in the end we're back to square one.

I have switched the blog IDs again. Could you disconnect /reconnect to WordPress.com once again?

    Thank you.

Thank you jeremy. It worked now.
Got my original stats back. THe last days are missing though.

Would it still be possible to merge the other stats into this blogid?
I've read in other threads that it has been done before. (merging two blog id stats).

    Thank you in advance!
