   So I decided to run wordpress on a godaddy server, this is my first time working with either of these services. I initially installed it into mywebsite.com/wordpress/ then I figured that I wanted the base directory to be the blog, so I copied all of the wordpress files over there. Now when I open mywebsite.com in IE or Safari, it draws data from the wordpress on the base directory, but in Firefox it draws data from the mywebsite.com/wordpress/ directory. I'm afraid to delete the old one if Firefox is being finicky, however it is getting tiring updating two blogs every time I want to change 1.

   Anyone have any thoughts on the matter? Thank you!

   Have you gone into settings > general and changed the address of your wordpress address and blog address? You need to do that to drop the folder from the address if you haven't.
