Two content divs in "Page.php" (5 posts)

I'm wondering if it's possible to create two content divs in the "Page.php" and also create an extra content box in page editor for each of the two divs?

The divs will be placed side by side, but both divs may not be needed for every page created.

Is this possible at all and how would I achieve such a thing?

    Thanks

Are you using a particular Theme or Child Theme?

To separate content in the editor, you may need to use another Content Management System.

To get away with not using another CMS, personally I use jQuery to wrap HTML elements.

I don't think that's necessary, you can create custom fields (ones that utilize a WYSIWYG editor) using any number of plugins out there, then reference those fields in your template.

Pods 2.0 Beta does custom fields, but you could use something like Advanced Custom Fields or Custom Field Suite to do what you're after right now.
