   Is there a way of displaying two catagories on the same page.

   This would be a four column layout since I'm already using a three-column layout. I would then use one column for text, the other for video clips.

   Normally, your main page should display all your categories.
   If you meant to reduce that to only two of your categories - use a plugin:
   http://ryowebsite.com/?p=46

   However, if you want 2 cats to appear in different places on your main page - your should learn about the Loop and using multiple Loops:
