   Hey,
   This is a weird one and molto-frustrating to my followers. Every night, Twitter Tools tweets 400+ blog posts in rapid succession. Additionally, the bit.ly links have been replaced by a 168.192. address. I think I fixed that by re-entering the bit.ly key, but I'm afraid to turn Twitter Tools back on after 3 straight nights of out of control tweeting.

   Thanks for any ideas!

   No, this is not a good idea. Twitter Tools needs to be able to look at the beginning of the tweet and identify if it's a notification from your blog or not. Otherwise, Twitter Tools and Twitter could keep passing the blog posts and resulting tweets back and forth resulting in the 'spinning fireball of death' mentioned above."

   Thanks! Good thought, also suggested by the smart folks at WordPress Help Center. Unfortunately, I had something in that field, so it can't be that.
