I had an increase amount of CPU usage (10x more than normal). After several days of troubleshooting, I linked it to the twitter tool plugin. After removing it, it seems that the CPU usage went back to normal. I am not 100% sure if the twitter plugin was the issue, since I made numerous other changes at the same time.
Has anyone experienced similar issue with this plugin? Is there another (proven) alternative to post to twitter from wordpress?

Posted 3 years ago #This should do what you want, I developed it and there seems to be no significant increase in CPU. It will post each blog title to your twitter account. It will add friends to your twitter account on each post - you specify the number and it will ping the twitter feed
