• I use Twitter Tools on my WordPress blog to post, once a week, all my tweets that don’t begin with @ (that is, all posts except ones clearly labeled as replies.

Take a look at this example:

    http://is.gd/uLlv

If you go up six posts from the bottom, you’ll find the #followfriday mention that originated here:

      #followfriday: Portugal netlabel @pedroleitao; music crit @gsandow; NYC art-song @dargel; laptop-guitar @willits; “Radio” killer @trevorhorn #

But note how only one of the @ entries (@trevorhorn) in the WordPress version is auto-linked to its corresponding Twitter page.

Any sense of why the others are not?

    Thanks.

It does something similar when two or more hashtags are used. That is, it wraps only one of them in anchor tags (which isn’t necessarily the first one).

I’m guessing the plugin assumes only one #hashtag or @reply being used simultaneously. It could very well have something to do with some of the regular expressions used.

Or doesn’t it? Anyone knows of a solution? (Preferably one that doesn’t require to much hacking about?)
