Twitter Tools – incompatible with SSL logins?

My boss’ blog has SSL for extra security on the login. I’m guessing that this may have something to do with Twitter Tools being unable to log in. When she puts in her username and password, it just loads forever instead of connecting properly.

Any ideas? Tips? Is there an existing hack somewhere for this?
