Apparently there's a conflict with Twitter Tools on WP 2.9 where the plugin is not allowing users to post new posts or pages. When I deactivated TT the problem was resolved.
My question is how to fix this problem, since I enjoy using this plugin.

I am having problems with two sites.
One site just has three plugins: askimet, category cloud, and twitter tools.
The other one has eight plugins: askimet, all in one seo pack, bookmark me, Google Analyticator, Plugin Output Cache, StatCounter, Text Link Ads.
Both sites give the error if Twitter Tools is activiated.

Alex, the advice I took away from the thread you linked to was to disable your plugin, Twitter Tools. Doing that appears to correct the issue on my weblog, but (obviously) removes the function the plugin provides.
I couldn't tell if the issue was that something in WordPress 2.9 was now broken or if the interaction between WordPress 2.9 and Twitter Tools 2.0 is what is amiss. Do you know what the issue is?
I appreciate your plugin, Alex. It is useful to me when I'm visiting my company's headquarters, where I often don't pay for Internet access in the hotel and our work network blocks Twitter. I can still update my Twitter account via my weblog and your plugin.

Alex King's link above doesn't help much. My twitter tools was working fine using my normal wordpress urls until WP 2.9 Now Twitter Tools will post to twitter, but with no links whatsoever to the content. There is a prob. Using the "wp to twitter" plugin and it works fine.
