   Hi, I just downloaded the twentyten.

   By default, all pages come with leave a reply comment area...
   I wanted to eliminate that section.

   I went to the page.php and from there, I ended up in loop-page.php

   I then realized that these pages are not in use when serving the pages! I put various debug notes and they did not appear.

   What theme or theme part is responsible for serving the pages in twentyten?

   And also how do I change the mysite.com/page_id=6 url to mysite.com/page6

   In the admin panel>Pages>Quick Edit (Hover over page) uncheck 'allow comments' for each page that you desire not to have comments on.

   You are right on the money this time.
   I did it for all my pages! and "leave a reply" box is gone.

   thank you.
   but my urls are still pointing site.com/?page_id=6

   Isn't by default, wordpress page urls supposed to be site.com/pageNameHere ?
