twentyeleven theme – admin media page has warning message?

    hi folks,

    im’ relatively new to wordpress. i’ve been web designing since 2000 professionally, and just really started word press now. it’s lovely.

    i was wondering. i recently installed the twentyeleven theme. when i go to the admin media page, to upload images, background etc… there’s warning messages on top.

    i’m wondering… right now, the site’s running fine… will these warning message pose a problem down the road? if anyone can place some comfort for me, that would be great.

    i realize you can’t see it, but maybe knowing the location might help?

    i was going to place s quick screen grab, but i don’t see an upload button here… so… i’ll paste the warning message i see, below:

    looks like when you uploaded or installed your wp-includes folder file may corrupted try and replace wp-includes folder from the fresh download.

    thanks for your help. looks like i’ll reinstall it. i don’t think i have a fresh folder to replace it. thanks!!! so quick to reply 🙂

    i did a clean custom install, using my host’s interface. i’m with dreamhost.

    i really would love to use the twentyeleven theme. after the clean install…
    1] under twentyeleven theme, i get this message when i go to my site, http://www.main.igotnimo.com/wpress/.

    “Fatal error: Call to undefined function is_multi_author() in /home/igotnimo_admin/main.igotnimo.com/wpress/wp-content/themes/twentyeleven/functions.php on line 583”

    2] under twentyeleven and other themes, i still get…
    The warning message still shows up in the media page, int he admin section…

    Any advice? I’m thinking of contacting my dreamhost support … maybe they have an idea somewhere related to the wordpress install to my server?

    Regardless, any feedback will help in the meantime.

    I just do not why you want to create a subdomain name main and then create a folder wpress

    is this your domain name igotnimo.com
    if so you can install in root if you want that to open wordpress or create folder wppress in root and install in folder
