twentyeleven images blurry

    The images I post in twentyeleven (child theme) are noticeably blurry. I read a bunch of posts on blurry images, with comments about sizing, etc. but couldn’t understand them, really.

    My header image is exactly 1000×288 before uploading. You can click on the biopic on the home (Welcome) page to see the difference in clarity.
