[resolved] Twenty Twelve Post Background Color - How to change? (4 posts)

    I'm using the Twenty Twelve theme. I have a working child theme started.

    One thing I would like to do is change the way posts show up. Currently all of the posts show up with the white background and a plain test post title. They just kinda run together, only seperated by titles. I prefer the way posts in the Easel theme are each broken up with a different background color and include the little calendar next to the title. I can live without the calendar, but giving a slight different background color for each post listed would sure be nice. Can someone tell me where to start with this modification? Thanks.

    article {
    background: #F5F5F5;
    }

    Perhaps through CSS nth-child odd/even ?
