[resolved] Twenty Twelve: Homepage Excerpts - Removing Certain Elements From View (1 post)

    Greetings,

    I was wondering if anyone could assist me with my current homepage? I set up my site with category menus and I'm working on an excerpt homepage of posts rather than a static homepage, so that it appears to be a roll of latest posts.

    My latest step was securing excerpts by changing the content.php in my child theme folder to contain this line:
    <?php if ( is_search() || is_home() ) : // Only display Excerpts for Search and Index ?>

    Now what I'm looking to do is remove these elements from the Home/Excerpts page for a smooth look and feel:
    - "Share This" line
    - "This entry was posted in" line
    - "Leave a reply" link above content

    Essentially, I only want these elements to appear on any other page that contains posts other than the Homepage.

    My website is: http://dramgoodtime.com

    Hope it's doable and not too much to ask. Thank you for your help!
