Twenty Twelve - Could not change page template for one page. (3 posts)

    I made a child theme and a new page template. The only change to the page template from the Default was that the new page called a new sidebar. I changed several pages to the new template, and it worked fine. Then I changed them all back to the Default template. All but one of the pages did change back to Default, but one stayed with the new template, even though the Default showed as selected in the Page Attributes section. Tried deleting the browser cache, changing back and forth but no go. Finally deleted the page and redid it, and the new version worked, switching between templates fine.

    Anyone else see this odd issue or have any insight?

    This was just a local site under MAMP, so I cannot provide a URL. Thanks in advance for any ideas.

    I am looking all over for this as well. I see raves about twenty twelve, but making a new page template so that my full width content has more padding has wasted hours, and still no resolution. In past child themes it was very simple to add classes and modify divs. I even tried to change it in functions.php to no avail.
    I wish that someone would comment on one of these threads

    @Lois Reed

    please start your own topic and post more details (the code of the template; what you edited in functions.php of the child theme etc) if you would like to get some suggestions to fix your issue.
